Dear
Warren:
On
November
23,
2009,
the
Planning
and
Environmental
Commission
approved
a
Conditional
Use
Permit
to
allow
for
a
parking
lot,
located
at
the
site
of
the
former
BP
Gas
Station
at
934
S.
Frontage
Road.
This
approval,
PEC09-‐0032,
included
a
condition
that
the
permit
expires
on
November
23,
2012,
unless
“the
proposed
Ever
Vail
project
has
submitted
for
Building
Permits
and
is
moving
diligently
towards
a
start
of
redevelopment.”
The
approval
form
has
been
submitted
for
reference.
As
you
are
aware,
Vail
Resorts
Development
Company
continues
to
work
with
the
Town
of
Vail
on
the
approvals
for
Ever
Vail,
but
at
this
point
in
time
we
have
not
submitted
any
building
permits.
As
a
result,
we
are
requesting
an
extension
of
the
Conditional
Use
Permit
for
the
parking
located
at
the
West
Day
Lot.
No
changes
are
proposed
at
this
time.
We
are
proposing
that
the
Conditional
Use
Permit
be
extended
for
an
additional
3
years,
expiring
in
November
of
2015.
We
have
provided
a
Town
of
Vail
Conditional
Use
Permit
Application
Form,
adjacent
property
addresses
and
envelopes
(updated
to
reflect
the
change
in
ownership
of
the
Glen
Lyon
Office
Building),
the
Conditional
Use
Permit
application
fee
of
$650,
and
a
copy
of
the
PEC
Approval
Form.
