HomeMy WebLinkAboutPEC120034 application packet Re c e i v e d By Ly n n e Ca m p b e l l at 4: 2 7 pm , Fe b 23 , 20 1 2 PE C 1 2 0 0 3 4 PR J 1 2 - 0 5 5 0 65 0 . 0 0 AL L I S O N KE N T , MA U R I E L L O GR O U P 10 / 2 2 / 1 2 9/ 1 2 / 1 2 11 : 4 1 a m September  12,  2012 Warren  Campbell,  Chief  of  Planning Town  of  Vail  Community  Development  Dept. 75  S.  Frontage  Road Vail,  CO  81657 RE:    Extension  of  Conditional  Use  Permit  for  the  Parking  Lot  located  at  the  West  Day  Lot,     934  S.  Frontage  Road  (Parcel  #:  21031210005) Dear  Warren: On  November  23,  2009,  the  Planning  and  Environmental  Commission  approved  a  Conditional   Use  Permit  to  allow  for  a  parking  lot,  located  at  the  site  of  the  former  BP  Gas  Station  at  934   S.  Frontage  Road.    This  approval,  PEC09-­‐0032,  included  a  condition  that  the  permit  expires   on  November  23,  2012,  unless  “the  proposed  Ever  Vail  project  has  submitted  for  Building   Permits  and  is  moving  diligently  towards  a  start  of  redevelopment.”    The  approval  form  has   been  submitted  for  reference.    As  you  are  aware,  Vail  Resorts  Development  Company   continues  to  work  with  the  Town  of  Vail  on  the  approvals  for  Ever  Vail,  but  at  this  point  in   time  we  have  not  submitted  any  building  permits.    As  a  result,  we  are  requesting  an   extension  of  the  Conditional  Use  Permit  for  the  parking  located  at  the  West  Day  Lot.    No   changes  are  proposed  at  this  time.    We  are  proposing  that  the  Conditional  Use  Permit  be   extended  for  an  additional  3  years,  expiring  in  November  of  2015.
