All omissions or conflicts between various elements of the working drawings and/or specifications shall be brought to the attention of the Structural Engineer before proceeding with any work so involved. The General Contractor shall verify all dimensions and conditions at the Job site and shall be responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures associated with this project. Furthermore, he shall be responsible for coordination of all work and materials including those furnished by subcontractors. The Structural Engineer shall be contacted during the construction phase to make the job site inspections necessary to confirm that the actual �eld conditions are consistent with the design assumptions and that the construction is proceeding according to the plans and specifications. Live Loads Used in Design: Roof 100 psf Floors 50 psf (Living) & 125 psf (Garage) Stairs/Corridors 100 psf Light Storage 125 psf Decks 100 psf Earthquake Seismic Zone C �nd 90 mph, 3 Second Gust The foundation design for this residence is based upon an assumed bearing capacity of 1500 psf. A licensed Soils Engineer shall be contacted during excavation to inspect the site and con�rm that conditions are consistent with this assumption. The General Contractor should review the Soils Engineer's report and follow its recommendations for excavation, backfilling, grading and drainage systems. Special inspection required for epoxy grouting and welding. 1 �� � SPECI FI CATI ON S All 2X dimensional framing lumber to be #1 Doug-fir or better. All BCI joists to be manufactured by the Boise Cascade Corporation. All Micro=lam's to be manufactured by the Boise Cascade Corp. and conform to the allowable stress requirements for a 1 3/4" 1.8DF Micro=Lam LVL. All connection hardware to be by the Simpson Company. All roof decking to be 5/8" C-C Ext-APA 32/16 plywood. Nail with 10d � 6" o.c. at panel edges and 12" O.C. in the �eld. All floor decking to be 3/4" C-D Int-APA 48/24 T&G plywood. Glue decking to joists with PL400 and nail with 10d � 6" O.C. at panel edges and 12" O.C. in the field All exterior wall sheathing to be 1/2" OSB. All concrete to attain a compressive strength of 2900 psi in 28 days. All reinforcing bars to be Grade 60. All steel bolts shall conform to ASTM A325 specifications.
