Their home was built in 1974 and, to the best of their knowledge, has its existing cedar roof. This application is to replace this roof with a Gerard tile metal roof. This exact application can be s€en on a singlefamily home located at 5148 Gore Circle in East Vail. This submittal would propose using the exact same product and color and the heaver cap application. Gerard Stone-Coated Steel Roofing - Tile Sherwood Green '0t wbd1 I understand that there has been some minor controversy regarding this product. Initially I was skeptical with the samples until I viewed the Gore Circle home. Personally I feel that the tile application is substantial and preferable to the thin asphalt shakes, which are becoming a predominant alternative to cedar shakes.
