Tlis is to confrnn that I made a framing inspection of the above noted residence yesterday- The purpose of this
inspectioo was ro confrm thal consrruction is being cornplctcd according to plans and specificalions issued by this
offroe and to addrcss a muplc of your specific concerns. This is asumrnary oFmy findings.
Except for the following items, I found that framing mcets thc plans and spccificstions issued by this oflice. The
sreel plates us€d for the central beam splhe are 9" deep in lieu of thc l0 " speoified. I hercby approve ofthis change-
A cusrom ll4' platc hangcr has bccn used to support rhc routh cnd of lhe existing built-up beam over the ncrv
Foycr. This hangcr has been coordinated between myself and thc Contracror, and I hcreby approve it as fabricated.
The Contsactor installod one of the three lags which were spccified at the wall to support the kree brace into the end
of the 6 x l0 horizontal beam- This was done to climinatc orc LSTA 30 strap ovcr the lop of this beam. I approve
this modification as an acceptable alternate.
The 6 x 6 post in this wall bchind thc brrces has bcen lerminated midhcight. The Contractor will iostall a triple 2 x
6 horizonrel block at the bottorn of the existing pod, and pack-oul below this block with i - 2 x 6's down to the sill
ptatc- Hc will thcn insall two [5TA36 sFap tics m each of these locations vertically, lapping the existing post and
the ncw buih-up post below.
