In summary, Ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for any
person to litter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debris
br rnaterial, inctuding trash dunpsters, portable toilets and
worknen vehicles upon any street, sidewalk, alley or public
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town of
Vail streets and roads is approxinately 5 ft. off pavernent.
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of VaiI
Public !{orks Departrnent. Persons found violating this ordinance
will be given a 24 hour written notice to remove said naterial.
In the event the person so notified does not comply with the
notice within the 24 hour tine specified, the Public l{orks
Department will remove said naterial at the expense of person
notified. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be
applicable to construction, naintenance or repair projects of
any street or alley or any utilities in the right-a-way.

Applicants who fail to appear before the Design Review
Board on their scheduled meeting date and who have notasked in advance that discussion on their item bepostponed, will have their it.ens removed from the DRBdocket until such time as the item has beenrepublished.
The following items may, at the discretion of thezoning administrator, be approved by the CommunityDevelopment Department staff (i.e. a formal hearingbefore the DRB may not be required):
a. Windows, skylights and similar exterior changeswhich do not alter the existing plane of thebuilding; and
b. Building addition proposals not visible from anyother lot. or public space. At the time such aproposal is submitted, applicants must includeIetters from adjacent property owners and/or fromthe agent for or managier of any adjacent

snow avaLanche, rockfalJ-, flood plain, debris flow,wetland, etc) r a hazard study must be submitted and theowner must sign an affidavit recognizing the hazardreport prior to the issuance of a building pernit.Applicants are encouraged to check with a Town plannerprior to DRB application to determine the relationshipof the property to all mapped hazards.

workrnen vehicles upon any street, sidewalk, alley or public
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town ofVail streets and roads is approxinately 5 ft. off pavement.
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of vail
Public Works Department. Persons found violatlng this ordinancewill be Eiven a 24 hour written notice to rernove said naterial .In the event the person so notified does not conply with the
notice within the 24 hour tine specified, the Public llorks
Departnent witl renove said naterial at the expense of person
notified. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be
applicable to construction, naintenance or repair projects of
any street or alley or any utilities in the right-a-way.
