tile specified in #5 below.
5. lnstall new 12" x l?'tile specified by Leslie in all the areas listed in #l through #4 ofthis
"Floor Coverings" section. Tile should extend approximately 10'-10" south of the
entryway door sill andeast-to-west acnoss th€ living roqm entrance and dinhg room areas
as shown on sheet #l - Plan View. attached.
Kitchen:
l. Save the existing microwave oven and re-install it in the finishedkitchen on the north wall
as shown in the enclosed drawings.
Remove and discard existins sink, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposer.
Rermve and discard all kitchen cabinets and cormtertops.
Renpve anddiscard existing surfrce-mounted 4-tube fruorescent ceiling fixture.
Tear out everything forming any physical or visual barrier between the kitchen and the
living/dining rooms, but save struchre arouad electrical entrance panel. Rernove the pine
paneling fromthe west face ofthe wall hous-g the electrical entruurce panel. Rebuild a
sheetrcck wall suitabfe to ltouse the electrical eatrance panel and to serve as the west end
ofthe new south countertop. We envision this wall to nrn from floor to ceiliog and to
have a cross-section of roughly 6" E-W x 32" N-S. R"pair dart4ggd walls and ceiling as
necessary to provide a ilDoth transition from the kitchen into the living/dinfu€ room arca.
Instatl all new cabinets per the marked-up DC & A quote and drawings enclosed or equal.
Instatt a new refrigerator, buih-in range, and dishuasher per the marked up DC & A quote

sink is to be a single basin stainless Etray #ELAHZ.I 18-lO. The sink is uodermounted, bas
one faucet hole, has a sorrpwhat unusual outline, rneasures 18" x 21" and is 10" deep, It
is available by special orde. rhrough Home Depot and \116 quoted in Scottsdaie at
$413.36. The faucet is to be a Prhe Pfister #53P50SS which has a brushed finish tbe
color ofpewter and is a stock itern at Home Depot in Scottsdale at S149,O0. From the
one we exarnined, it appeared to be Horrp Depot stock nunber A355554-

to site conditions.
