To Whom It May Concern::
This is to confirm that I have reviewed the egress window that is proposed to be installed in the west wall of the
above noted residence near the northwest corner of the building. The installation of this window will require cutting
an opening of approximately 3' x 3' in the existing concrete foundation wall at this location.
Since both the roof rafters and the floor joists run parallel with this foundation wall, the only load over this new
window will be the dead load of the wall itself. I have determined that this opening can be cut through this wall and
that a steel lintel will not be required at this location.
