Warren- Here are the most current plans I have for the Cross project. I can make any changes or revisions
necessary. As for the plantings, the intent was to match the planter on the other side of the duplex. There are pictures
included with the drawings. According to the landscape plans for the other side, the planter has globe spruce and ural
false spires currently planted. We would propose 2 -3 of each these plants for the new planter. As far as the aspen trees,
we think it may be possible to plant some on the other side of the driveway, (north, uphill side of driveway). Please let me
know if you still need more information or anything else. Thanks and have a good one.

The town of Vail received the BOD's approval yesterday for your requests as stated
below. If you are being held up on cutting down the Aspens, you should have Rollie
speak to the town to see what the delay is because I hand delivered our approval to the
town on October 3rd for that portion of your work.

I guess we can't make the easy so here are the answers to the HOA questions.
This is a confirmation of the previously submitted request.
The parking space will remain a common area in which it will not be a private parking space but rather a spot
which can be used by any
member of the association.
We also agree to maintain the area.
All materials used for painting, staining, deck, railings and, landscaping will be done to match the other half of
the duplex.
A listing of the types of plants to be used can be reviewed on the attached.
I believe this answers all of the questions.
Approval would be appreciated.

The BOD of Casolar met yesterday and discussed your proposed changes to your
original proposal. We did receive more detailed drawings from Nedbo, however we
need a written request from you detailing your changes which includes your agreement
that the parking space will remain a common area in which it will not be a private
parking space but rather a spot which can be used by any member of the association.
You also need to include your agreement to maintain the area since you are improving
in common HOA property. You also need to define that you are only replacing the
railing on the deck, not enlarging the deck area. The BOD also wants to make sure
that your staining /painting for the railing, soffit and other surfaces are matching the other
half of the duplex. We are also awaiting the number and types of plantings you will be
installing to replace the Aspen trees you will be removing.
As soon as we receive this information in writing, we will be able to review and probably
approve your application. Until then, we are unable to approve your request.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact any of us on the Board of
Directors.
