Also I will be placing a condition on the permit requiring all flood lights and non-compliant lights to be replaced with a
Code compliant light that is full —cutoff (dark sky) Have you selected the fixture? Can you send it to me? If not I can
place a condition that you submit he fixture for review and approval in conjunction with the building permit.

GRFA graphically since the 3 sections of walls are 100% buried and all others are 100% exposed ... It seemed far simpler to
figure out the ratio. The proposed GRFA calculations are fairly straight forward and shown on A2 ... Please call with any

Hi Warren- Please See attached site plan with the property lines more clearly indicated.
You will see from my chicken scratch that three sections of wall are completely buried. The total of the buried section is
62.5 LF. The total perimeter on the lower level is 283 LF therefore I reduced the total square footage of the lower level
GRFA 22% ...ie 62.5/283 = .22 : The total Lower Level was 2,266.5 reduced by .22 yields 1,767.87 1 then took the 600 sf
garage credit for a final total GRFA of 1,167.87

Can you please show on the revised site plan the property line location to the east of the structure? I am fine with a
reduce depiction of the overall site, but I need to see the structure and addition in relationship to the adjacent side
property lines.
Can you please provide me with more detail on your basement deduction calculations? By this I mean more detail on
how you determined how much of each wall plane was exposed verse buried. Many architects doing this analysis will
show a blow up of the various wall planes depicting where grades fall (based on a previous and existing/proposed grades
which ever results in more wall area being exposed) on the wall resulting in a area buried verse exposed.
