The "General Conditions of the Contract for Construction", AIA Docurent
L-2OL, 1987 14th edition, Articles 1 through 14 inclusive, is a part
of this Contract zubject to all changes contajned in Addenda to the
General and Supplanentary Conditions.
The following zupplenents sha11 nndify, delete, and/or add to the
General Conditions. Where any article, paragraph, or subparagraph
shaff rernain in effect and the supplernental provlsions shall- be con-
sidered as added thereto. Where any article, paragraph, or subpara-
graph in the General Condibj-on is amended, voided, or supersceded by
any of the following paragraphs, the provisions of such articl-e, para-

A single contract shall be 1et for the performance of all work describedin the plans and specifications for the Kaminski Residence prepared by
John M. Perkins, AfA. The Contractor shall supply al1 incidental itons,
arbicles, materials, 1abor, and equigrent necessary to execute the uork
required by the Contract Docurnents.
Subnlttals and Substitutions - 01300
1. Shop Drawings - Shop drawings will be requlred only where specifically
asked for in the various sections of these speciflcations. When re-
quired, sutrnit in the quantity required to be returned ph.rs two copies
to be reta.ined by the Architect.
2. Substltutlons - I{herever possible throqhout the Contract Docunents,mfiffi acceptance quality of raorknanship and materiafs has been
defined either by manufacturerrs nane and catalogue ntnnber or by
reference to recognized industry standards. Where the phrase "or
equal'r occurs i.n the Contract Docrrrents, any substitution must sti11
be approved by the Architect. The Architect will consider substitutions
only when. such proposals are accorq)aried by fu1l and complete technical
data and any other information required by the Architect for evaluation.

3.Availibility - Verify prior to bidding that all specified iterns will

1. Clean-up - Material scraps and pieces shall not be alloqed to accunu-
late on the site or within the building. Such material shall be
accurmrlated at a central location and disposed of on a regular
basis by hauling frorn the construction site. On-site burning or dis-
posal will not be alloued.

change orders, so that the owner can occupy and cnpletely use the

operational. The Archltect will be the sole judge for the tjne of

Glass - Glass cleani-ng: Clean all glass surfaces and mirrors of putty,
