THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
AS REQUESTED, WE OBSERVED INSTALLATION OF#4 AND#5 DOWELS ON
A LINE BETWEEN 1 AND 7 LINE. HOLES WERE DRILLED INTO THE EXISTING
CONCRETE FOUNDATION WALL. A TWO PART EPDXY BY SIMPSON
(STRONG-TIE SET XP) WAS USED. WORK WAS PERFORMED IN GENERAL
CONFORMANCE WITH PLANS AND EPDXY GROUT SPECIFICATIONS.
(PRESENT AT THE SITE WERE DENNIS AND RANDY WITH PNCI AND PAUL
WITH M & M CONCRETE)

The installation and bolt tension were checked in accordance with project specifications and the American Institute of
Steel Construction Specification for Structural Joints using ASTM A325 or A490 bolts, 5ections 8 and 9.
At the time of the inspection, bolts observed in the above locations were installed and tightened to the minimum
required tension values as set by the American Institute of Steel Construction.
