This document is intended to show compliance of the addition and alteration of the Parson’s Residence
located at 770Potato Patch Dr. #3, Vail, COwith the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (2009
IECC). We propose to use a prescriptive approach per sections 402.1-402.3and 403.2.1 of the 2009
IECC. I have also included the inspectionchecklist from the 2009 IECC REScheck program for your use.
Project
The residence at 770 Potato Patch Dr. #3 is aremodel of a condo increasing thefloor area to 2,760sf. This document deals only with the new and remodeled areas of the residence, as existing constructions
are exempt per section 101.4.3 of the code.
Building Envelope
