(06/16/2009) Bill Gibson - Re: West Vail Fire Station question Page 1 From: Mark Miller To: Bill Gibson; Tom Kassmel Date: 6/16/2009 3:38 PM Subject: Re: West Vail Fire Station question Bill....here are some general (averaged)estimates: I'm using the definition of a trip as: one response = one trip, but I may be remiss....do you consider that two trips(leaving and returning)? Daily emergency trips: approximately 3-4 a day. Non-emergency trips: 30-35 (includes resident firefighters and prevention personnel)-does not include the potential use of the community room.I would estimate that the community/meeting/training room will be used 1-2 times day and generate an additional 20 trips. Hope this helps.... Mark Miller,Fire Chief Vail Fire and Emergency Services 42 W.
