plication for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development
Department. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and
construction commences.

Changes to Approved Plans

Dear John and Gale:
We would like to make 3 changes to the plans that you previously approved for our
addition/renovation.
1. Install a window to the left of the new front door. The window will be a casement
window that matches the trim of the existing windows in the duplex and will be
2'4" by 4" tall. The plans that you previously approved did now show a window
in that location. We included a drawing of this change (Drawing A).
2. Install 2 casement windows in the kitchen, instead of 2 garden/bay windows, as
you previously approved. The windows will match the trim of the existing
windows in the duplex. The windows will be in the same location as you
previously approved( which is also the same location as the existing windows)
and will each be 4' by 4'6" tall. We included a drawing of this change (Drawing
B).
3. Change the railing on the decks from a Trex railing to a railing that uses
Deckorators brand traditional aluminum balusters in bronze with a wood railing
that is stained with Cabot brand outdoor deck stain (color is chestnut brown) to
match existing railings, facia and decks. We included a drawing of this change
Drawing Q.
