I visited the site on Tuesday, September 26. Bob
Boldemann showed me the second ffoor beam and partial
wall to be replaced. The new beam is not to exceed
16 feet in length with the equivalent bearing of (2)-
2x4s on each end bearing to in existing bearing
wall-s. The new f]-oor beam is to be (1) - 5 1/8" x L3
I/2" GLuIam. The existing (remaining) perlin beams
are to be trimmed and reattached using the existing
angle hangers with 4" dia. lags or Simpson connector:
OHU410-SDS3 Ornamental- Joist Hanger, or Equivalent.
AIso, you and f dj-scussed drilling 3 %" ho1e in one
of the existing perlin beams. It was decided that
you would "glue and screw" (1): L %" x 9 lz" LVL ful-l-
Iength to the beam in question.
