BUITDING PERMIT ISSUANCE TIME FRAUE
If this permit requires a Town of Vail Fire Department Approval, Enginee/s (Public Works)
review and approval, a Planning Depaftment review or Health Deparbnent review, and a
review by the Building Department, the estimated time for a total review may take up to
six (6) weeks.
All commercial (large or small) and all multFfamily permits will have to follow the above
mentioned maximum requirements. Residential and small projects should take a lesser
amount of time. However, if residenUal or smaller projects impact the various above
menUoned departments with regard to necessary review, these prdecb may take up to
six (6) weeks to review and approve.
Every attempt will be made by this deparUnent to expedite this permit as soon as
possible.
I, the undersigned, understand the plan check procedure and time frame. I also
understand that if the permit is not picked up by the explration date, that I must still pay
the plan check fee and that if I fail to do so it may affect future permits that I apply for.
