Dear Bob,
We were contacted to review the location of a new window opening on the south side of unit #2
at One Vail Place in Vail, Colorado. This new window will be approximately 4' wide by I I'tall
and will be located on the upper floor per drawings received from Steve Riden, dated January 29,
2007.
I have reviewed the existing structural drawings forthis buildingdated June 12. lg79 by Gordon
Pierce, and it appears that the wall where this new window will be located is non load-bearing.
Therefore, a structural header over this opening does not appear to be required.
We should be contacted if, during demolition, it appears that this wall is actually load bearing.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or if you would like us to perform a site
visit.
