We are seeking a permit to add 2 CO detectors and add 1 smoke detector in Vail Core Condo, 122 W.
Meadow Dr, Vail. We will interconnect the 3 smoke detectors in the unit. The system will be local
smoke, system heat. The 3 heat detectors in the smokes will report as one point. Each device is not
addressable. The local smokes will be self restoring. The system heat detectors will generate a building
wide alarm.
The smoke added will be outside the Master Bedroom. 6 conductor wire will be pulled from the entry
loft smoke, to outside the Master Bedroom, to inside the Master Bedroom. The 2 CO detectors will be
monitored by one Silent Knight MIM. The panel is capable of 256 devices, currently there are 185
devices. By combining the unit to one point, we are saving addresses for future remodels.
We will be adding a power supply for non resettable Aux power for the CO detectors. Each CO detector
consumes 40 Ma in alarm, well under the 6000Ma the booster provides.
Attached, please find the cut sheets for the booster, CO, smoke detector and MIM.
