(3) revised sets of Shannon Townhouse
►-
Charlie — I believe that we have addressed all of your revision comments regarding the
Shannon Townhouse in the Vail Mountain Lodge.
I. The coversheet has been amended to include the construction type and the fact that '
we are using the 2003 IBL.
2. The upper stairs leading to/from the upper deck on sheet A102 have a handrail on
both sides o( the stair, as do all of the stairs in the unit.
3. Sheet A102 has been amended to note the fact that the exterior stairs are to be
snow melted, and will slope I/8" per foot to drain.
4. Smoke detectors are still not shown on the architectural sheets as they are shown
on sheet E2.
5. Even though we are not altering the party walls that are already in place, we have
provided a typical party wall condition detail where they are constructed of 5/8"
Type X gyp and studs. The concrete party wall condition has not been detailed
because there are no I hr fireproofing concerns with that type construction.
6. A complete interior door schedule has been provided on sheet A602. "
1. Typical floor, wall, ceiling, and roof assemblies have been provided on Sheet A602
that illustrate a I hr fire resistive construction.
8. There are no through penetrations or membrane penetrations to note between the
Shannon's unit and the rest of Vail Mountain Lodge.
9. Sheet A105 has been amended to show that we are in compliance with IBC section
112.4.I. and a general note has been placed on the RCP so that there is no
confusion about the number of penetrations that can be made per IOOsq. ft. of
floor area.
10. See note 1.
