This is a Electrical Load report for the Vail Community
Development Office for the remodel at Booth Creek Town
homes #C-4. I am the electrician working for No Bull
Contracting. My company is Eagle Electric Inc. and my
name is Michael Koenen.
The property has multable apartments. The remodel has its own meter. The
meter has a 125 amp main breaker. The feeder to the panel is a 1/0 SER wire
from the meter.
The only power requirements we are adding are 4 additional recessed
lights which replace a surface light on the ceiling of the kitchen. The
existing ceiling fixture in the kitchen has 3, 75watt bulbs and we will
replace it with 4 recessed cans with 22 watt fluorescents . No change in
watts.
In the kitchen we will add a new circuit for the microwave and a new
circuit for the refrigerator. The microwave is new the refrig power is the
same but I will bring it up to code by not having it on the small appliance
circuit. The microwave was sitting on the counter and was on the small
appliance circuit and we are bringing it up to code.
In the kitchen we are adding 3 under cabinet lights with 7- 20 watts
bulbs total 140 watts.
In the hallway we will add 3 recessed cans to replace a fixture with
two 75 watt bulbs.
In the 3 bathrooms we will add 1 recessed can over the shower with a
22 watt fluorescent bulb. The bathrooms will no change except for new
fixtures and bath fans.
Two bedrooms downstairs get 4 recessed lights with fluorescent bulbs
each to replace 2 fan lights. No change in power.
All the baseboard heaters will be replaced by hot water heat. This will
be a savings of 2000 watts.
With the changes there should be an energy savings.
