ELECTRICAL CONDUIT WORK ON LIONSRIDGE LOOP
Work to install new electrical conduits on Lionsridge Loop is continuing to facilitate the
relocation of overhead power lines to the conduits below grade. Currently, one lane of flagged,
two-way traffic is being maintained. Beginning mid-next week, the contractor will close the road
to accelerate progress on the remaining work. Emergency vehicle and pedestrian access will be
maintained throughout the closure and the road will reopen each night. For more information,

VAIL SEEKS COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO FILL B&FCA BOARD VACANCIES
The Town of Vail is seeking community members to fill three vacancies on its Building and Fire
Codes Appeals Board (B&FCA). Applications are due to the town by 5 p.m. Oct. 29. The Vail
Town Council will conduct interviews during its work session on Nov. 4, with appointments to

Public Project Updates
Seibert Circle
WET Design crews are working to program the fountain. Contact Todd Oppenheimer at (970)

West Meadow Drive Streetscape
Utility work is 75% complete. Prep for south walk and gutter is underway. Beginning Monday,
traffic will be reduced to one lane, west bound only between Vail Road and Vail Valley Medical
Center 24/7 to facilitate concrete pours. Pedestrian access is being maintained; cyclists are

Eaqle River Water& Sanitation District Work on Beaver Dam Road
Paving is scheduled to occur in approximately two weeks. The entire project is targeting
completion by the end of October. Pedestrians are asked to avoid Beaver Dam Road. Contact

Private Project Updates
Front Door
Site work is continuing on the south side of the project. Interior work on the remaining chalets
will continue into winter. Contact Jeff Haselhorst, Hyder Construction at (303) 829-5741.
Solaris
A hydro-crane is in place at the southeast corner of the site to assist with the removal of the
crawler crane and installation of the third tower crane. Village Center Road will be reduced to

one-lane, two-way traffic through Sunday. Traffic control is in place. Contact Rob Robinson, The

FourSeasons
Paver sidewalk from Mayor's Park across the Four Seasons frontage on West Meadow Drive
will occur this fall. A lane closure on the South Frontage Road is anticipated to occur within the
next two weeks to allow for permanent power to be run to the site. Completion of the tenth floor
is underway. The smaller tower crane is anticipated to be removed in early November. Contact

Manor Vail

Mountain View
Work on the southeast stairs and streamwalk is underway. Backfill is occurring around the
project. Driveway entry and sidewalk repair are scheduled to occur yet this fall. Contact Jeff

The Willows

Rucksack

Bell Tower Buildinq
Structural steel will begin next Wednesday (10/8.) Setting of the ridge beam is scheduled for
Oct. 16 and will require a full street closure of Gore Creek Drive for 4 hours in the morning.

Announcements
• West Forest Road has reopened following replacement of the gondola cable.
• Work on the north side of Vail Village Inn Phase III will begin soon and consists of
realigning the existing curb and gutter, installing a concrete pan in front of the garage
access and installing a heated paver walkway. Work is expected to take up to two weeks
to complete. Pedestrian and vehicular access will be maintained; however, driveway
access will be narrowed to single lane at times for construction. Call 479-2235.

Streetscape
• Pavers are being installed in front of Montauk and Patagonia.
• Additional drain work on the west side of The Arrabelle has begun.
Core Site
• Punch work is continuing on all buildings and the plaza which involves the use of lifts.
• Drains and pavers are being raised or lowered on the plaza to remove the puddles.
• Plaza fountain final finishes are almost complete,
• Maypole art work is schedule for the middle of October.
• Gondola building stone work is almost complete.
• Temporary loading dock is being removed and the bike path is being restored to its
original configuration.
• Concrete steps are poured behind Lionshead Center and asphalt will go down next
week.
Ritz-Carlton
Several road closures are anticipated in October on West LionsHead Circle to facilitate concrete
pours and material delivery, weather permitting. More details to follow. Contact Cowboy

Lion Square Lodqe North —Tower Residences
Foundation work is continuing. Steel work is scheduled to begin the third week of October.

Landmark Condominiums
Pre-cast work for underground parking garage is continuing. Installation of steel is underway. A
road closure of West LionsHead Circle is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 7. Single-lane
closures on West Lionshead Circle are scheduled throughout the month of October. Traffic

• Replacement of the retaining wall at Vail Spa Condominiums will require a single-lane
closure on West LionsHead Circle near the Ritz-Carlton site from Oct. 6— 17. Extreme
