Re: Bay windows at 288 Bridge Street (Rucksack Building)
Dear Bill, Jeff, and Margo,
It has come to the Town’s attention that the two (2) bay windows on the east side of the Rucksack Building at 288 Bridge Street on both of the residential units may have been installed
without approval from the Town of Vail. While Town records indicate that some window changes were approved in the past, the records do not indicate approval of any bay windows. I am
writing to request your help in clearing up this issue. If anyone has records indicating approval of these windows, I would greatly appreciate a copy of these records for our files.
If no records exist, the Town would like to work with the owners in order to determine how the windows were approved. I would like to stress that the purpose of this letter is merely
a fact finding mission, and it is not the Town’s intention to accuse anyone of wrongdoing. If I can be of further assistance, feel free to call or email me using the contact information
