Dear Town of Vail,
In regards to the Vail Fire Station #2 construction project located at 42 West Meadow Drive, GE
Johnson has been asked to provide a list of items that are incomplete. Please see the deficiency list
below and the associated responsible party and proposed completion date for each item. As
discussed at the meeting between GEJCC and TOV on 4/3/13, a TCO is not achievable due to this
being a remodel so this letter is a checklist for a Final Certificate of Occupancy. Currently the project
has final inspections completed in the Fire Station area for plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm
and fire sprinkler.
The items are as follows:
Asphalt paving on North West Corner—Complete by June 15, 2013 - GEJCC
Striping for North and East Asphalt—Complete by June 15, 2013 - GEJCC
Landscape & irrigation —Complete by June 15, 2003 - GEJCC
Exterior Signage "Vail Fire Station"—Complete by 4/12/13 - GEJCC
100%Test and Balance Report— Complete by 4/12/13—GEJCC
Trash Enclosure Doors and Frames—Complete by 4/12/13— GEJCC
Balcony brace—Complete by 4/19/13 —GEJCC
Exterior Painting (Includes all Planning Comments)—Complete by 4/8/13 —GEJCC
Fence Removed (Includes all PW Comments) —Complete by 4/12/13 - GEJCC
ASI#16R (Revision 20, Correction 1 per Vail Comm Dev) —Complete by May 30, 2013 - GEJCC
2 wheel stops at north parking spots— Complete by June 15, 2013 - GEJCC
Town Of Vail Items:
ADA Parking Spot Signage—June 22, 2013 - TOV
