❑ Overl�ead seruices are not allowed in the Town of Vail. �

switch and to the first electrical distributiora circuit breaker panel.
�� The main disconnect switch shail be located next to the meter on the exterior wall of the structure easily
accessible.
�,� Afl undergrounc! conduits are required to be inspected before back-�i(ling the trench.
� In multi-farrtify dwelling units, no electrical wiring or feeder cables shall pass from one unit to another. Common
waF€s and spaces are accepted.
� NM Cable (Romex) is not allowed in commercial buildings or structures exceeding three (3) stories.
� No use of alumin�rn wire smaller than siz� #8 will be permitted with the Town of Vail.

� Afl instal�ations of exterior hot tubs or spa'� require a DaB appraval fTOm planning. This application wi11
not be accept�d without a copy af the DRB approval fo�m attached (if applicable}.
� If this perr�ot Es fo� ir�stallation of an exterior hot tub or spa on a new elevated platforrn or dec�c over
30" above grade, you must also obtain a building permit.
� If this permit is far installation of an �xterior hot tub or spa on any existing deck or elevated platform,
a struc�ural engineer must r�view the existing candition. and verify �hat it will support t'�e added
concentrated foad. Pleas� provide a copy of the structura� e�gineers wet stamped letter or drawing �
with this application.
❑ If this is a remodel in a mult►-�amily building with a homeowr�ers association, a letter of permission
from the assoc�atior� is required.
� If t�is permit Fs for a cammErcial space, two (2) sets of starnped drawings are required.
