Subject: Project at steps to street/concrete landing Attachments: Star landing revision 4- 20- 93.pdf; ATT00009.htm Hi All, We'd like to make the changes shown on attached. I've shown this to Stacey /Kyle and their fine with it. We don't think drawings from Stacey are necessary. Hopefully this can be supervised during the same time as the bridge project. This will involve: 1. Cutting the concrete wall so that opening to stairs is enlarged per attached drawing. 2. Removing the concrete landing at top of stairs, which has snowmelt tubing in it. 3. Pouring a new concrete subpad at top of stairs, with new snowmelt tubing. 4. Surfacing the landing with the gray fieldstone used on steps. The top of the fieldstone should be at the same level as the driveway pavers and the adjacent section of existing fieldstone. The existing fieldstone might be removed so that stone is continuous with the new landing (unless a expansion seam is needed). 5. New stucco to cover the concrete wall where cut. Also, the concrete pad and steps to spa deck don't really seem to be the Sandstone color we were expecting. I'm wondering if the concrete subcontractor can test some stains on the landing to be torn out to try to correct the color on the remaining steps - I think we're open to many alternative colors as long as it looks more 'natural'. I'm wondering if I could meet with Alex and Eamoon next Wednesday afternoon to discuss this and the West Deck dirt infill. Thanks, Frank
