Hi Steve,
Piease see the attached simulation.
I will also suggest some plants, but will allow you to make the final decisions based on your budget and what you feel is the
best look as you can go with more shrubs than trees,or vice-versa.
When I reviewed this with my Landscape Architect, he said with the current slope,you should install erosion control
blankets and seed underneath; with a native low grow or wildflower mix. As you can see,we suggest staggered (2-3')
boulders along the length of the section being landscaped. Once you have this foundation of seed and boulders,you can do
a random or mixed collection of plantings between the boulders and the top walking area based on what you like and what
we have available:

- 3—Crabapples(spring snow—crab less)
- 3 - Pinon Pine (or Bristlecone if you want, but we do not have in stock right now)

hey toby. really can't do a layout in 2 hrs but can do a quick simulation and some suggestions would be to mitigate
for the high potential for erosion by installing boulder terraces for plantings, install erosion control blankets on all
slopes steeper than 3:1 and hydroseed with a native mix.
As far as what material to use that is in the yard and looks good, you may have to walk the yard and tag some
material. if there are good looking bristlecone, that would work for above the boulder retaining. other screening
