Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows. Relocate three sidewall heads for new ceiling and wall configuration in living room. Relocate one pendant head and eliminate one pendant head in master bathroom for new ceiling and Wall configurations. Eliminate seven sidewall heads currently in beam pockets and add three pendant heads in the bottom of new beams. New beams are six inches deep. All work performed will comply with NFPA13 and local standards. This is a copper antifreeze system on the fourth floor. All added materials will be compatible to the existing system. It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES.
