Re: Improvements on Town of Vail land/Stream tract

Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter shall serve notice that you have made improvements on Town of Vail land. The
improvements include a small basketball court and stone wall. These improvements are in the
stream tract and in the flood plain.
The Town of Vail Development Standards Handbook states, in part, that:
No grading is permitted in the 100 year flood plain without Planning and Environmental
Commission approval... No permanent improvements shall be constructed within I' of
the flood plain line.
The Town of Vail sees this as a serious violation and is demanding that you remove all
improvements on Town of Vail land. All work, including reseeding, must be completed by
September 01,2005. Failure to comply will result in a summons being issued.
Please provide me with a construction plan and schedule as soon as possible. I will be happy to
meet with you to discuss any questions you may have with regards to this work.
Upon completion of the restoration work please call me for an inspection of the property. My
