o Overhead' services are not allowed in the Town of Vai�.
o U�derground services sha//be in conduit (PVC) from the uti/ity transformer to �he electric meter, main.
d�sconnect switch, and ta the first el�ctrical distribution circuit breaker panel.
o The main disconnecC switch shall be readily accessible,an�a/located next to t�e rneter on the exterior wall of
the structure. A�I underground conduits are required to be inspected before back-filling the trenci�.
o In multi-family dwefling units, no elettrical wiring or feeder cables shall pass trom one unit ta anothec�. Common

v All installatior�s af exterior hot tubs or spa's require a DRB approval fram planning.This application will
not be accepted withaut a copy of the DRB approval form att�ch�d (if appli�able).
v If this p�rmit is for installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on a r�ew elevated platform or deek over
30" above grade, you must also obtain a building permit.
❑ If�his permit is f�r installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on any existir�g deck or efevated platform,
a structural engineer must review the existing condition and ve�ify that it will support the added
concentrated load. Please pravide a copy of the structural engineers wet stamped letter or drawing
with this application.
o If this is a remodel in a multi-family bui�ding with a homeowners association, a letter af permission
from the association is required.
❑ Tf this permit is,for a comra�ercial space, twa (2) sets of stamped drawings are required. E/ec~ciF�ical
one-line and pane/schedu/es are required if/oad is added or distri6ution is a/tered.
