It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the Town of Vail Municipal Codes as follows: Reported Violation(s): Unapproved lighting was installed on the east facing wall (parking area side) without Design Review Approval. Lighting installed does not conform to current standards. It is too bright and shines onto adjacent properties. The Town of Vail Development Standards Handbook requires that you minimize the unintended and undesirable side effects of outdoor lighting while encouraging the intended and desirable safety and aesthetic purposes of outdoor lighting. It also seeks to protect the legitimate privacy of neighboring residents by controlling the intensity of the light source. We are asking that you remove all unapproved lighting within 10 days of receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result in a summons being issued. Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help assure that Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we all strive. Please feel free to call me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have. My office phone number is 970-477-3417. Very Truly Yours, David Rhoades, Code Enforcement Officer Community Development Department
