Input from the following departments was involved: Police,Fire,Public Works,Planning, and Building. After reviewing the site plans and street plans,we have found that Units A and B have four parking spaces total. These spaces are located west of the stairway and vehicles must be parked noses in and not parallel. We would encourage you, as an owner, to place Private Parking signs in those spaces and assign two spaces to your unit. This would assist guests and tenants of each unit to not block each other's spaces and thereby create additional parking problems. It would also assist the Police Department to ticket violators in those spaces. Any vehicle not parked in these designated spaces is subject to a ticket and/or towing at the vehicle owner's expense. Also be aware that your parking is currently nonconforming to our standards. Any more that 500 square feet of improvements to your unit would cause you to meet the current standards. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at 970-477-3417. Very Truly Yours, David Rhoades, Code Enforcement Officer Town of Vail, Community Development Dept.
