The project is in Lionsquare lodge North, units 501 and 601 that is all one unit. The owners would like to remove the wall that separates the dining room from the media room on the 6th floor, also part of the wall that separates the media room from the kitchen. Please see attachment labeled deleted wall, the area circled and the walls that are dashed are the walls I am talking about. They fall along grid lines 3 and X on the framing plans, or close by I believe. The second attachment is the 5th level framing plan. It looks like there is a column in the exterior wall, but that is all. There is also a detail referencing 17/55.1, which I could not find, that falls in the wall in question. The third attachment is of 6th level framing which is similar to 5th level framing. I also attached a photo of the plan set I referenced. We would keep the same ceiling height as the existing soffit in the dining room. Please let us know your thoughts, if there are structural implications, we would like to hire your company to help in the project. Thank you for your time.
