Dear Mr. Stafford:
Thank you for taking the time last week to speak to me regarding the grease container located at the east end of the Sitzmark Lodge. As you are aware, there was yet another grease spill
there which caused grease to accumulate on Gore Creek Drive and was also tracked into nearby retail shops. It is important that we do not allow this type of problem to occur.
I spoke with Mark, National Bi-Products, regarding their pickup schedule for this container and found that they only come into town every 2 to 4 weeks and then often have difficulties
making it into the Village area during normal delivery hours. They do not make special trips up here as they do not feel it would be cost efficient for them or for the customer.
This is where we need your help. This recurring problem must stop and, as the management company, it is up to you to work with all of the parties involved to work out some type of arrangement
that will prevent this type of problem from happening again.
Please be aware that should another grease spill happen at this location or if the area isn’t kept looking clean and sanitary then the Town of Vail will issue a summons to you for the
violation.
