Proceeding with the Work in accordance with these instructions indicates your acknowledgment that there will be no change in the Contract Sum or Contract Time. Description: Per the TOV building department’s requirement, replace all fireplaces and flues, and upgrade fireplace chases as follows: 1. Replace fireplaces with Napoleon BGD42CF with B flue and install per manufacturer’s recommendations. See attached photo and cut sheet. 2. Patch existing drywall in existing fireplace flue chase with 5/8” thick type “X” drywall as required to provide one hour fire rated construction.
