Specifically the unit will be a Trane 3 to Split Cooling System which has a footprint of 30"x 33"and stands 29"tall. This unit weighs 193#, which imposes a uniform load of 28 pounds per square foot on the existing roof below. The unit will be placed on the north side of the roof near the stairwell adjacent to Grid 2 and between Grids B and C. I have reviewed the original roof framing plan for this area and determined that the existing structure will be capable of supporting this additional load.
