Vail Fire& Emergency Services has reviewed the literature and the published test results for
Thermocrete Vail Fire& Emergency Services has approved the use of Thermocrete as a re-liner/sealerfor
existing Class A chimney flues,subject to the listings and conditions as noted in the Intertek Testing Services
Report J99001572-231.
Such approval is not intended to constitute a recommendation or endorsement: All applications within
the Town of Vail will require a permit and are subject to inspection.

Thermocrete2m Ceramic Flue Sealant(CFS)and a revolutionary product which seals, strengthens, and
binds deteriorated or damaged chimney interiors.A true ceramic product, it is entirely different from any of
the cement or stainless steel chimney lining products on the market today. CFS has both residential and
commercial applications. CFS offers valuable solutions for chimney restorations, boiler retro fits, code
compliance, restoration and fire damage repair at a fraction of the cost and time of current methods. CFS
is tested and listed to U.L. and to A.S.T.M. standards, and accepted in 82 countries. CFS also meets the
stringent ISO 9002 international quality assurance standards.

ThermocreteT"is applied in a semi-liquid form, providing excellent adhesion to masonry surfaces,
coating the entire interior surface of the flue, and filling small gaps in the masonry work with a fireproof
seal. Multiple layers of the ceramic material are applied, forming a complete and durable chimney
sealant, unsurpassed in the industry. Moreover, it doesn't substantially reduce the size of the
flue.

Lifetime warranty
j Thermocrete USA, Inc. warranties the product provided to the purchaser to be free from defects in material under normal use and
service when installed according to manufacturer's instructions provided the purchaser and any transferees pursuant to this warranty
properly maintain the chimney. Such maintenance to include the installation of a chimney cap, or other approved termination, and
an annual sweeping and evaluation of the chimney by a factory-trained Thermocrete Installer or a Chimney Safety Institute of
America (CSIA) certified chimney sweep.
This warranty will cease to exist and no longer apply if the original chimney substrate is disturbed or damaged in any way and we
will not be responsible for damage caused by misuse of fuels or heating appliances, faulty connections into the chimney, or for
damage caused by incorrect maintenance of the chimney. Consequential damages resulting from a sealant failure are not covered by
this warranty, nor are damages due to failure of substrate.
For this warranty to apply, the customer must notify Thermocrete USA, Inc. in writing of the claim under this warranty within seven
(7) days of the fault becoming apparent. On being notified of the claim, Thermocrete USA, Inc. or its representative shall inspect the
product and if there is no defect shall charge the customer for the time and expense involved. Not withstanding any of the above,
total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the total price of materials purchased, and is subject to full payment of the invoice
within the time specified. Statutory rights unaffected.
