In order to prevent a non-emergency resppnse from the Vail Fir�� Department Suppression crews to the con-
strucfiion location you may be working on , we ask that you perfc� rm the following tasks :
Determine what kind of fire alarnn system exists within the structure ypu are
working in with the owner or the manager of the property involved or by contacfi-
X — ing the Vail Fire Department.
Determine with the owner or man� ger of the property, which alarm company
X services the system for them
Become familiar with the differenit components that are associated with the fire
X — alarm system and how they oper�te before the DEMO begins.
Never paint a smoke detector, th �rmal detector, or any other component of the
X fire alarm system and never pain�t a sprinkler head/cover plate ,
For larger projects , please confia �c� the Vail Fire Department so that we can
work with you in determining wh <�fi needs to be done to alter or "Zone Out" spe-
X cific areas of the alarm system fc► r the structure.
