Gentlemen:
Monroe & Newell Engineers, Inc. conducted multiple structural site visits at the
residence at 45 Forest Road during construction of the interior pool in 2013. The
purpose of the site visits was to observe the grotto area and the progress of the
installation of the new pool and the support of the building surrounding the pool.
We have observed the construction of the pool, the underpinning of the building's
foundations and the installation of slip joints between the pool structure and the
building structure during multiple site visits.
The pool and the underpinning appeared to have been constructed in general
compliance with the construction documents prepared by Monroe and Newell
Engineers, Inc. which were prepared in compliance with the requirements of the
International Building Code.
In summary we have determined that the new pool structure appears to have
been constructed in compliance with all construction documents for the building
and the pool.
