An applica- tion for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community development De- partment. Design Review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and construction commences. t Submittal Requirements: The Town of Vail offers two (2) methods for submittal of materials for review of applications. Materials can be submitted either digitally or on paper. Whichever method you select all materials shall be submitted in that format throughout the Design Review process. I would like to remove the fireplace chase on the exterior of the front of the house and two small adjacent windows. I would like to replace these windows with one span (10ft wide by 5fthigh). The window height would be 36 inches off the kitchen floor and would put the new window height matching the dinning room windows on the exterior. This would accomplish a cleaner look on the exterior as well as bring more light into the kitchen. The proposed windows would be matching Pella architect series windows that are present through out the house. Please see the two attachments which show the exact windows and a drawing of the proposed changes . I believe this would be an upgrade, cleaning up the exterior of the house which would be a architectural upgrade from the existing structure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
