I would like to remove the fireplace chase on the exterior of the front of the house and two small adjacent windows. I would like to replace these windows with one span (10ft wide by 5fthigh). The window height would be 36 inches off the kitchen floor and would put the new window height matching the dinning room windows on the exterior. This would accomplish a cleaner look on the exterior as well as bring more light into the kitchen. The proposed windows would be matching Pella architect series windows that are present through out the house. Please see the two attachments which show the exact windows and a drawing of the proposed changes . I believe this would be an upgrade, cleaning up the exterior of the house which would be a architectural upgrade from the existing structure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
