The color/material for the new termination cap. Painted grey to match existing. 2. The chosen material/color for the decking. I haven’t decided yet on what the finish surface will be on the deck. It will either be grey carpet like I have now or a 12” x 12” teak or IPE deck tile left untreated to weather to a natural grey. 3. A catalog cut for the new skylights showing frame color. See link above. I don’t need to replace the skylights right now but my wife is insisting on having shades so might as well upgrade them to something new. The existing ones are a bronze color and my goal is to move to copper. The ones I want to use have solar shades and venting but are currently only available in a grey color. I may wait and see if the manufacturer offers a copper option in the near future. If they don’t, I may not do this work. 4. The color of the new vent not covered by the copper cowling. Grey to match existing. I did this copper/grey combination on the addition in the back and it seems to be ok. 5. Clarification that the new ridge cap matches the other copper roof elements. I will let the copper patina naturally, i.e., I will not put the acid wash on it as I don’t want to call attention to it. http://skylights.veluxusa.com/consumer/products/residential_skylights/the_no_leak_skyli ght/deck_mounted/vss
