Un March 30, 20I 1 an inspection/survey was conducted and 3 bulk
samples were collect�d from:
Tree 'I'ops Condo.
452 E. Lionshead Cr. Unit # 5-B
Vail, Cn.
The purpose of the inspection/survey was to loc;atc and sample
suspected Asbestos containing materials that might be pcesent in the area of
the Residence that is planned for selective interior renovation.
The inspection was made, and the samples were coliected by John R.
Pctcrman, an A.H.E.R.A. and State of Colorado Certified Asbcstos
Irtspector. Cireat care was taken during the inspection and sampling to be as
accurate as possibfe. [t should be noted that minimal damagc was done to
the existing buildin�structures durins the inspection so there is no
documentation for unseen conditions or stored items.
All samples were analyzed by UCM Science Lab in Wheatridge, CO.
This laboratory is deemed "Proftcient" in the E.P.A.Qua[ity Assurance (QA)
program for the dcternnination of asbestos in bulk materials, and is
s�ceredited by the Am�rican ��ygiene Association (AHA).
SAMPLING PROT�COL:
� A random sampling sCheme was used to sample the suspcct materials that �
were disc;overed. If during any future demofition or renovation work,
suspect material is dis�covered that hasn't been sampled and would be
disiurbed, work should be haltcd unU( the matcrial has been tested.

The t)nit # 5-B at Tre�e Tops is planned for selective interior renovation.
The interior walls are covercd in sheetrc�ck and wood. The ceilin�s are
c�vered in sheetrock like the walls. The i]oors are covered in carpet and

COIYCLUSiONS & RECOMMENDATIONS:

Laboratory analysis, of the composite samples, indicates thai Asbestos was
detected in three ovt of three bulk samples. 1 Iowever, The Asbestos content
of the positive sample is less than the Regulatory Limit (Greater than 1%
Asbestos). The Asbestos content of the �sitive sample was verified by the
required Point Count Analysis.
