Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows. Add one new fire sprinkler head at the bottom of stairs to accommodate new wall. Replace two existing pendant heads with concealed type heads in small dinning area. The existing system is a CPVC wet system. All added materials will be compatible to the existing system. Existing coverage in the large dinning appears to be correct, with extended coverage sidewall heads. It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970 - 618 -3294.
