Scope of Work:
Work for this Building Permit shall be limited to the interior tenant finish
at the existing condominium unit. All work shall be within the existing
envelope of the building. The scope of work shall include new electrical,
plumbing fixtures, interior partitions and finishes on this sheet. All
modifications and additions are non structural.
Demo Notes:
1. Demo all existing plumbing fixtures except where otherwise indicated.
2. Demo all existing cabnetry except where otherwise noted.
3. Demo all existing interior doors, frames, and casing except where
otherwise noted.
4.Demo all exisitng floor finishes except where noted otherwise
5.Save and protect for re -use all existing finishes not to be demolished.
General Unit Notes:
1. Dimensions are to face of stud, face of concrete, or column centerline
unless noted otherwise.
2. All penetrations of rated walls, floor, or ceiling assemblies must be fire
caulked per UL listings.
3. All wet areas are to receive 5/8" thick water resistant gypsum board.
4. Provide blocking as required for cabinetry, built -ins, etc.
5. Existing sprinkler heads and fire protection system to remain. Protect as
required.
6. Typical doorjamb opening shall be a minimum of 3" from the corner of
the adjacent wall.
7. All new interior non -rated partitions are assumed to be 3 1/2" wood
studs with 5/8" gwb. each side unless otherwise indicated.
8. Patch and repair existing wall board as required.
Plumbing Notes:
1. Connect new plumbing fixtures to existing waste lines.
Penetrations of plumbing through rated floor ceiling assemblies
shall be provided with a UL listed fire sealant system.
Electrical Notes:
1. Provide all new electrical circuits, wiring, and fixtures to
comply with the requirements of the NEC.
2. Provide rated enclosure around can lights to maintain rating of
one -hour floor ceiling assemblies, or provide low voltage cans
than have a ceiling penetration less than 16" sq.
