RE: Streamside Duplexes, East Vail
Dear Streamside Duplexes Neighbor,
On behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Harmon, the owners of Streamside Duplexes, Parcel D, I am sending you a sketch plan
showing a proposed new driveway that continues an existing access easement from Columbine Drive to the Harmon's
proposed home. The proposed driveway will be developed within the existing easement as permitted on the Original Plat
for the Streamside Duplexes. Regarding the specifics of this proposal, the following comments are pertinent:
I. Based on the Original Recorded Plat for Streamside Duplexes, access to all parcels was guaranteed. Since this
remaining lot has not been developed, no driveway to the lot currently exists.
2. The driveway will remove trees within the easement and some of those trees will be replaced as screening between
your property and the Harmon's new home.
3. The proposed project will have to be approved by the Town of Vail Design Review Board prior to any construction
beginning. Other approvals will include the Town of Vail Building Permit Process and subsequent inspections to
conform to Town of Vail Building Codes and the International Building Code.
4. All modifications to create the driveway will be designed by a Licensed Architect and Landscape Architect and will be
inspected /approved by the Town of Vail during the Construction process with letters of approval on file at the Town
of Vail
In conclusion, we hope you agree that we've designed our proposal for the Harmon's driveway in a sensible way - a
design which indeed enhances the value of neighboring units such as yours.
