Re: The Sweet Spot Building Permit Comments—TOV B13-0422
Dear Martin:
Thank you for your recent comments and feedback on the building permit application for the proposed
tenant improvement at 616 West Lionshead Circle,Vail,Colorado 81657. The existing tenant space is
vacant, but was previously permitted and occupied as a retail space. The intent of the building owner and
the tenant is to maintain the integrity of the existing space and the associated occupancy classification.
Therefore,we are requesting the Town of Vail(TOV)review the permit application as a remodel of the
existing construction and occupancy. The building owner will be providing a copy the previous tenant's
information to help demonstrate this equivalency.
Assuming this approach is acceptable with TOV,we have updated the permit drawings and summarized
the permit comments below along with our responses for your consideration:
