Included with this letter are the application5 rec�uired ta �mprove parking and
con5truct �rontage Road im�rovements at the I1�ly Cross Parcel m Va�l.
As you are aware the Planning and Environmental Comm�55�on a�proved var�ances
to allow th�s park�ng lot to be unpaved and w�thout i�terior land5�apmg �n
October of 2003. A condi�ion of approval reauire5 that Vail Resort5 obtain
approval for and cons�ruct the permanent paved improvements by November of
2004. Th� Towr� of Va�l St�ff has re�ue�ted that we no� pave the park�ng th�s
year a�d seek an approval to allow the parkm9 to rema�n unpaved unt�l November
2�05. ThiS extension will allow ample op�ortunity for investigat�on and
discussion with the Town about the potentfal for 5tructured park�ng on the site.
Vail Resor�s �5 therefore seekir�g to make �rr�provements the site and ad�acent
roadway and is seekinc� variance to allow the lot to remain unpaved for another
year.
The ma�erials submitted with the ap�lica��on should be suffic�ent �o allow for the
PEC and DRB rev�ew and approval of th�s pro�ect. Ef there is add��ion�l
