The work shall be carried out in accordance with the following supplemental
instructions issued in accordance with the Contract Documents without change in
Contract Sum or Contract Time. Proceeding with the Work in accordance with these
instructions indicates your acknowledgment that there will be no change in the Contract
Sum or Contract Time.
Description:
Per the TOV building department's requirement, replace all fireplaces and flues,and
upgrade fireplace chases as follows:
1. Replace fireplaces with Napoleon BGD42CFwith B flue and install per
manufacturer's recommendations. See attached photo and cut sheet.
2. Patch existing drywall in existing fireplace flue chase with 5/8" thick type "X"
drywall as required to provide one hour fire rated construction.
