BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
1 Revise plans to indicate the building construction type and occupancy type per 2009 IBC
2 Include a site plan showing location of adjacent property lines. IBC 107
3 Show a minimum 30” working clearance from new mechanical screen area to the mechanical equipment.
4 Revise plans to provide a minimum 48” depth landing at the bottom of the stairs to the new wall per IBC 1009.5
5 Include a wall section detail for the proposed new wall showing 1 hour wall construction and minimum insulation per 2009 IECC and IBC 107.2.4
6 Show new door size on the plans per IBC 1008.1.1
