issues, such as traffic and pedestrian safety, snow maintenance, enforcement,
duration, etc. This management plan shall also prioritize parking locations
associated with this conditional use permit as follows:
a. Existing Cascade Village Parking Structure; then,
b. Lionshead Parking Structure with shuttle service provided by the applicant;
then,
c. North side of the South Frontage Road only adjacent to the Cascade Resort
and Spa building between the south guardrail and the Westhaven intersection.

event, the applicant must obtain Town of Vail Fire Department "pre-approval" of the
conference or convention venue.

General Information: A conditional use permit is required for any use classified as "conditional" in any of the
Town's zone districts. Uses listed as conditional uses are subject to such conditions and limitations as the
Town may prescribe to ensure that the location and operation of the conditional uses will be in accordance
with development objectives of the Town and will not be detrimental to other uses or properties. The pro-
posed project may also require other permits or applications and /or review by the Design Review Board
and /or Town Council. All PEC approvals shall lapse if construction is not commenced within two years of the
date of approval and diligently pursued to completion, or if the use for which the approval is granted is not
commenced within two years.

Dear Commissioners:
These comments are additional notes to the completed application.
o This request as noted above is a request for renewal of PEC # 070068.
o We request that the length of time for the conditional use permit not have a termination date.
o The current use permit calls for excess parking, if needed, be targeted to Westhaven Drive as
the "C." choice. We believe the VPD wants to eliminate that choice, which is what has been
the course of action over the existing period, and we suggest the new permit eliminate that
choice.
