VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS, CONDITIONS, AND UTILITY LOCATIONS PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY WORK OR ORDERING ANY MATERIALS. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES IN THE DOCUMENTS IMMEDIATELY. 3. THE OWNER HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT DUE TO HARSH WINTER CONDITIONS, ROOF AND DECK SURFACES MUST BE MAINTAINED REASONABLY FREE OF ICE AND SNOW TO ENSURE MINIMAL PROBLEMS WITH THESE SURFACES. 14. SUBSTITUTIONS OF "EQUAL" PRODUCTS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE WITH ARCHITECT'S WRITTEN APPROVAL. IT IS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT THE PROPOSED SUBSTITUTION IS EQUAL TO THE PRODUCT SPECIFIED. 15. IT IS THE INTENT AND MEANING OF THESE DOCUMENTS THAT THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND EACH SUBCONTRACTOR PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, ETC.
